darkbeing-designs
The idea for darkbeing.com lurked for a long time in the shadows of the mind. Trying to create something different then most sites. The difficulty started with finding the right name for it. It took some long stormy nights to come up with the current name, which contradictory to some has a meaning. Its main design flow that makes it come alive happens to be in the latest hours after dusk, transforming the designers into beings of the night.
The main goal of darkbeing.com is to provide you with a modern, yet stylish webdesign that conforms to today's web standards. Although, also keeping in mind that designing should be fun for both designer and client!
Sven Kunert
Sven Kunert has been working on the web for a couple of years now. It started with friends asking him to help on their sites, doing mainly the design HTML part for them. Knowing that he had started studying computer science at the university. This triggered the curiosity about webdesign. Starting with simple HTML pages, it soon developed into designing serious modern CSS sites. The main focus being on modern webdesign standards and still maintain a creative viewpoint.
Rene Kunert
René Kunert's first experiences with HTML was watching her mother work 18+ hours a day behind the PC. You could say she was "born into it". Eventually that got her interested enough to dive into creating her own styles at the age of 16. Of course then was the time that table based designs were "in". As standards progressed, so did her fascination of growing with the possibilities that today's CSS offered.
Her main focus is graphics. Not only digital, but also traditional art enhanced by various graphic programs like PhotoShop and ImageReady. Working mainly to keep away from complete image based webdesigns.
